Graduate Courses
Because the M.S. and Ph.D. graduate programs are quite flexible, students have the ability to tailor coursework to meet their personal and professional goals. The requirements for a graduate engineering degree in the Biochemical Engineering area include ENGR 6910, ENGR 810X, one graduate statistics course and one biochemistry course. For the M.S. degree, students commonly complete 24-30 hours of coursework, of which 12 hours must be courses taken by graduate students only. For the Ph.D. degree, students commonly complete 18-24 additional hours of coursework.
